Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro
As we pointed out earlier, the X10 Mini and Mini Pro share identical guts: Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz processor (as featured on the Legend, Aria, HD Mini and MyTouch 3G Slide), 2.55-inch 240 x 320 LCD capacitive touchscreen, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, microSD expansion, micro-USB port, FM radio, A-GPS, Bluetooth (with A2DP), and 802.11b/g WiFi. Phew! Now what really differentiates the two models is the Mini Pro's slide-out QWERTY keyboard -- we dig its tactile feedback and spacing between the keys, although it did take some getting used to with the oddly-positioned shift key, and not to mention the non-offset rows of keys. To pack all this goodness, the Mini Pro therefore has a slightly longer and thicker body (we measured 18mm vs 16mm), but both devices feel just as good and secure in our hands thanks to SE's signature "human curvature" design.
Those who are super picky with their phone's color may be somewhat limited by their choice of carrier -- there are six options in total for the Mini: metallic red (our favorite), lime, pearl white, black, glossy silver and glossy pink (not so hot on the last two); Orange UK only stocks black and lime, for example. On the other hand, the Mini Pro only comes in black, pearl white or red (the latter two not pictured), and no, you can't fit the Mini's shells onto the Mini Pro due to the different sizes and button layouts. Even if the cases were swappable, we wouldn't be keen on doing so on a regular basis -- from time to time prying them open was as difficult as picking warts off our feet.

What the heck is a tablet computer?
Mainstream America might never have known before Apple bushwhacked its way through technical barriers, misconceptions and skeptics stake its claim on tablet computing with the iPad. The breakthrough tablet, which Apple still struggles to keep in stock, dodged mistakes made by previous tablets by making computing with your fingers easy, relatively inexpensive , and above all, fun.
But no company can dominate an entire market forever – even one that essentially created it. Having eyed Apple enviously for months, other companies are now attempting to elbow their way in on the tablet space. And Samsung is among the first to the table with the Galaxy Tab. Can the supersized version of the company’s successful Galaxy S smartphones compete? We stacked it side by side with the Apple iPad to find out.

Samsung confirmed its Mobile World Congress plans early with details of its two flagships. The Galaxy Tab II is now slightly larger than the iPad it goes up against with a 10.1-inch, 1280x800 display much like the Motorola Xoom. It uses what should be a stock version of Android 3.0 and runs on a 1GHz (likely dual-core) processor that can record 1080p video from the rear eight-megapixel camera.
The Galaxy S II mostly fits recent expectations and centers on a dual-core 1GHz processor, a sharper 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, HSPA+ 3G and an eight-megapixel camera with 1080p video. It's now known to come with either 16GB or 32GB of included storage and to support mobile HDTV viewing, though in which countries wasn't mentioned.
Software will be a key factor as it will now have the same Music Hub and Readers Hub as the Galaxy Tab along with a Games Hub and the usual Social Hub. More details are expected to come from Samsung's press event in Barcelona this evening.

The first big thing that the iPhone 5 could have is 4G/LTE support. This would be huge. This would signify that the greatest smart phone available in the marketplace would be able to access content faster and more efficiently than ever before.
The iPhone 4 on AT&T and Verizon will operate on 3G network bands. These bands provide a limited set of bandwidth, which, alone, is decent for today’s user. However, for those of us that crave more speed, the benefits of 4G can’t be argued against.
This becomes even more apparent if you are the type of person who is on the road and doesn’t have access to WiFi connections all the time. The speed increases offered by 4G/LTE could dramatically impact your experience. Speed tests performed on Sprint’s 4G/LTE network have shown a 7 times faster download and 2 times faster upload speed improvement. So, if you are the type of person who loves to stream YouTube videos or other massive bit-crunching content, this should be a big deal to you.
If you want (or at least desire the possibility of) a better network experience, you will want to purchase the iPhone 5.
2. iPhone 5 Could Be Much More Powerful
If power is your thing and working your iPhone to the brink of its limits is commonplace, then the iPhone 5 could be your new best friend. While most of these talks are just rumors, there has been plenty of discussion about the iPhone 5 having a powerful multi-core processor. This processor would be capable of handling much more activity and usage from the user, which would also give a significant boost to those who love to run applications in the background.
It would then be easy to assume that the iPhone 5 will have much more power to perform complex graphics and 3D renderings, especially with the possibility of a more powerful dedicated graphics chip. This would appeal to gamers who regularly demand great performance and top-of-the-line graphics capabilities.
Granted, it is far too early to speculate as to how much power the iPhone 5 will really have, because we just don’t know. However, I believe it is safe to assume that the processor will be much more beefed up than in previous iterations of the iPhone. I just hope the battery can keep up.
If you want one of the most powerful smart phones in existence, you will probably want to wait to see what the iPhone 5 has in store.
3. iPhone 5 Could Offer NFC
Another unique feature about the iPhone 5 that has been widely discussed as of late is the integration of near-field communication (NFC) technology. This technology would enable the iPhone to communicate with other devices and enable your phone to become a virtual replacement for your wallet. This could revolutionize how we handle our money in the future.
Imagine walking into a Best Buy and never having to pull out your wallet. All you would need to do is to pull out your phone, wave it in front of a device, have it confirm your purchases for you, and walk out of the store happy. You never touch any money or plastic; your phone handles the entire transaction for you. Sounds cool, right?
This is NFC technology, and this is possibly one of the most controversial and hotly debated features rumored to make an appearance on the iPhone 5. The reason being is that putting NFC technology on phones is the easy part, but the difficulty comes into play when you want to get the merchants, retailers, and other parties involved. They are the ones who will need to pay the extra money to support NFC technology. It’s also a pretty big deal.
There is no doubt in my mind that Apple could make NFC work. The question isn’t if, the question is when and where. One would expect that places around Silicon Valley, New York City, and other cutting-edge metropolises will be the first ones to support NFC if it takes off. Still, it doesn’t mean much to the average joe living in the other states across the country.
In the end, NFC could be a game changer. NFC could make Apple richer than anyone could imagine. NFC could change the way you and I handle money in the future. And, most importantly, everyone seems to want in on this action. It just might be a few years before this stuff gets taken seriously. But who could argue having this stuff now?
If you want the latest and greatest technology in mobile payments, you will want the iPhone 5.
4. iPhone 5 Could Save You Money
I also know that us Apple fans love to spend money to enjoy the latest and greatest hardware from Apple. However, if you are in the market for a new iPhone and have yet to pull the trigger, you have an incredibly difficult to decision ahead of you: do you buy the iPhone 4 now or do you wait for the iPhone 5?
If you don’t currently own an iPhone 4 or 3GS currently, then your decision is more difficult because of the allure of having an iPhone 4 on, say, Verizon or for so cheap on AT&T is huge. But are you willing to accept the fact that the iPhone 5 could be much more impressive than the iPhone 4? Are you willing to accept that you’ll be stuck with an iPhone 4 over the span of two years, while everyone else is enjoying that new iPhone 5 that is possibly right around the corner?
Some of you could handle that with ease. Others — like me — always crave the latest and greatest stuff. And others, like me, have trouble accepting the fact that the things they buy now will be obsolete in a year or two. As bad as it usually is, it is further compounded by the fact that the iPhone 5 is possibly only a few months away from being announced. It just isn’t fair!
So, how does the iPhone 5 save you money? If you purchase the iPhone 4 now and regret this decision in a few months, you might lose out on some cash to upgrade after going through the hassle of selling your existing phone. Also, buyer’s remorse is a pain — trust me, I would know.
If you can hang on to your old, busted, out-of-date phone for a bit longer, you’ll probably save some cash in the long run if you crave the latest and greatest.
How The Apple TV is Winning Over My Living Room

Purchased my first Apple computer shortly after they made the switch to Intel processors. It was the first time that I had purchased an Apple product and shortly after picked up iPod, after iPod, after iPod. The iPod touch led to the iPhone and before I knew it I had countless Apple products in my home. But one item from the Apple collection that was missing from my home was the Apple TV. The first generation model seemed interesting, but its design, approach to the living room, and cost led me to want to structure a media center with the Mac Mini before I’d consider purchasing an Apple TV to manage my living room.
Apple realized that their “hobby” wasn’t having the success that they hoped for and decided to shift things a bit this past year. The new Apple TV featured media streaming instead of hard drives and was offered to customers at a significantly lower price. For Christmas we decided to add the Apple TV to our product collection. At first my family was a bit skeptical. They didn’t really see a use for the product and it wasn’t used much. But with time that changed.
We started streaming family videos to our television from our computers and we became more comfortable with the interface and simple remote settings. My wife started exploring Netflix on the device and found she preferred watching shows and movies from Netflix on the Apple TV to the app available to us on the Xbox 360. The more we used the device, the more we found ourselves renting movies from the iTunes Store and downloading children shows for our kids. I’d honestly say that almost everyday we use our Apple TV as much as our DVR.
How did Apple do it? They offered a simple and powerful tool that brings us services we like to use and made it easier than competing platforms. Essentially, to win over our television and video usage, Apple followed the same approach they use for all their devices. Over time, we found we naturally preferred to use the Apple TV to other options because of overall positive user experience the device offers.
Apple has done it again and I believe that they are just getting started in the living room. The Apple TV is a steal at $99 and I imagine with future software updates and continued compatibility with the iPhone, iPad, and iPods we’ll find ourselves interacting with the media device more and more.

How to Install Games on iphone free and full
There are 2 methods to install *free* games on your IPhone, both a jailbroken iPhone. The method I will explain is the easiest one. It does not require patching your iPhone.
Easy steps:
- Update your iPhone to firmware 2.0 or later with Pwnage 2.0
It’s important that your iPhone is Jailbroken, and that you have installed Cydia Installer.
- Fire up Cydia, and install OpenSSH. It will allow you to connect to your iPhone.
Next you will need an ftp client that handles SFTP protocol.
I recommend Transmit for Mac users or Winscp for Windows users.
- Connect your iPhone to your wifi home network, and check the assigned IP address.
Fire up your FTP client, and connect to your iPhone IP address with the following user:

- Connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to your Mac
- Start iTunes if it hasn’t started automatically.
- From iTunes click on your iPhone or iPod touch from the device list
- Hold down the Options key and click on Update button
- Now browse and select the downloaded iOS 4 firmware update file and click on Open
- iTunes will do the rest of job to update the firmware to iOS 4.0.
How to Install iPhone 4.0 Beta Firmware without UDID
iPhone OS 4.0 Beta is already leaked and in order to get it installed on your device, you need an Apple Developer account. There's a catch though. You can't simply sign up the developer account; you are required to pay USD 99. I don't think it's worth to pay that much for the sake of trying iPhone OS 4.0 Beta which will eventually come out around this summer. Fortunately, there is away to get around this problem (install iPhone 4.0 beta without UDID registration), thanks to ih8sn0w.

Revamped Version of iH8sn0w’s Sn0wbreeze 2.2
Aside from the Pac-Man option, iH8sn0w also added a new “Baseband Preservation Mode” in addition to Simple Mode and Expert Mode. This new mode will allow you to jailbreak your iPhone while preserving its baseband so that you will not lose the ability to unlock your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G from its carrier through utilizing the latest version of the iPhone Dev Team’s Ultrasn0w carrier unlocking tool.
For those who aren’t aware, Sn0wbreeze is an alternative to PwnageTool for Mac and it has a capability to jailbreak iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Aside from that, just like the PwnageTool, it also capable to create a custom ipsw / firmware files without upgrading the baseband version of your iOS device. Snowbreeze is compatible with Windows Operating System only while PwnageTool works on Mac OS X.
Currently, there is no ETA given for Sn0wbreeze 2.2. We will of course keep you updated as soon as we know more about it. So stay tuned!
