Apple has released the iOS 4.2.6 that is specifically targeted for iPhone 4 from Verizon. The firmware is now available for download and CDMA features in the new smartphone. The iOS 4.3 which is already released in Beta stage might be available for both CDMA and GSM iPhones on its launch.

It has been noted that the new firmware differs from the current software by providing the “Personal Hotspot” features that is missing in AT&T/GSM iPhone, atleast for now. The iTunes was also updated to version 10.1.2 that is required with this update. Apple is now distributing the iOS build 8E200 IPSW file that sizes 652MB.
